FAR CRY 3 Review

Far Cry 3 is a modern FPS game developed and published by Ubisoft, it came out on Playstation 3,Xbox 360 and PC on November 2012. The game takes place on an island taken by a pirate gang that does drugs and weapons trafficking.

The main player, Jason Brody, is on a vacation with his friends in Bangkok, one time they went skydiving and therefore they landed on the pirate island, his friends are taken hostages by Vaas, a criminal mind lunatic and the leader of the gang and kills Jason's brother, after a desperate effort he escapes the prison and our player finds himself in front of a huge jungle with the goal to save his friends.

The gameplay is like any Far Cry game, an open world style with a vast map on one hand and a variety of things to do on the other one, there are main objectives related to the story and secondary ones for collectibles, exploration and hunting. We are introduced to a large selection of weapons acquired from the pirates or bought from weapon stores which can be upgraded and customized through time.

There are also various ways to transport in the map world using cars, bikes, quads, boats.. And of course through the safe houses that you unlock after defeating the pirates on that area.

The graphics are amazing which adds a realistic feeling to the jungle and gives you the feeling to explore or just go swimming in the water.

The game's durability is quite long, it takes 15 hours to complete the main story, and if you want to go for 100% it could take you up to 30 hours to complete.

We can conclude that this Far Cry is the best so far, this is a must buy for any fan of this series, it has improved in every ways: Intense characters, colorful graphics, fun gameplay and great music, which earns the game a good grade of 9/10.
